Offer it Up!The Latest News on the Fire Relief:

Volunteer Opportunities and The Latest News for Our Community

Just when we thought the affects of this fire couldn’t possibly reach us, we find many of our own parishioners facing evacuations and risking their own lives in the service of others. We have created this page to keep our St. Dominic’s Parishioners up to date with the latest relief efforts and how they can serve those in need.

LAST UPDATED on 10-17-17

Partnering with Local Faith Communities

Fr. Jerome reached out to the Northgate Christian Community and offered support in working together as a whole community for those in need. They successfully put in place a system for receiving and distributing donated items for evacuation shelters in Santa Rosa and Napa and we are so proud of our parishioners that stepped up to help with these efforts in the first days of the Fire Response.
*NEW SUPPORT OPPORTUNITY! Our friends at Justin-Siena High School in Napa need help with donations for evacuation centers including Sonoma Valley High, Napa Valley College, St. John’s and St. Apolinaris.

Now through Sunday there will be a donation drive at 1581 East Monte Vista Avenue in Vacaville from 10AM- 8:00PM.

Again, we are still supporting similar donations this weekend through Northgate Christian, this is another donation and distribution location our Saint Dominic’s Catholic Church parishioners can support!

Emergency Resources for Our Families at Risk

We recommend the following list of emergency information programs for the latest updates in your area and how to prepare in case of evacuation.

Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Emergency Alert System. This system enables the City of Benicia to provide you with critical information quickly.

You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as your home, mobile or business phones, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.
