Volunteer
To be a Volunteer, it takes…
-
- Generosity, a willingness to give your time to others.
- Understanding, because their lives might be very different from your own.
- Empathy, an ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and feel what they must feel.
- Compassion, to truly care about making someone else’s life better.
- Patience, because the process doesn’t always go as smoothly as it might.
- Dedication, to stick with the project and see it through.
Saint Vincent de Paul
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
St. Dominic’s Conference
The St. Vincent de Paul Conference of St. Dominic Catholic Church offers person-to-person services to those who are in need and suffering.
The priority is to provide day-to-day food services. When resources allow, financial assistance for basic living needs (rent and utilities) may be provided.
Collaboration with, and referrals to, other organizations of good will are also coordinated to meet the needs of Benicia residents.
