God calls us to love our neighbor as ourselves. We are wired to be social animals and to want to be in relationship with another persons. Fr. Jerome shares why he chose to be a religious priest and not a diocesan priest and the gift of living in community. He offers advice on making our church feel smaller and more personal by becoming involved in a specific ministry and getting to know one another better.

September 18th, 2016 Dominican Spirituality of PRAYER

Fr. Jerome’s preaching mission continues with the Dominican pillar of PRAYER. Fr. Jerome shares how is practice of the Rosary helped him learn to develop a more meditative prayer life and the impact on his life and by putting himself in the events of Christ life it started to bring him closer to Christ and understanding God’s love for him. Next he began to long for the sacred silence and appreciate Adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament where he could hear the voice of God in his life. Bringing all of these prayer styles together brings us closer to incarnate the word of God in our lives.
