May 24th, 2015 Pentecost Sunday

Fr. Jerome’s homily on Pentecost Sunday. Right before the Ascension Jesus tells the apostles I have much more to tell you but you cannot bare it right now. God’s mercy prepares us to go deeper after Pentecost with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through Baptism and Confirmation we receive spiritual gifts that help us to deepen our understanding of ourselves and the work we have ahead of us building God’s kingdom on earth. Throughout out our lives these sacraments, and the Eucharist and Confession, He continues to strengthen these gifts  within us and deepens our understanding of his love and will for us.

Sunday May 10th, 2015 Remain in My Love

May 3rd, 2015 Response to Protestant Claim that Catholics Aren’t Christians

A few weeks ago the Benicia Herald Newspaper ran an article contesting that Catholics aren’t necessarily Christians. Fr. Jerome delivers a homily that refutes the argument of Sola Scriptura (that the Scripture alone is the source of God’s Salvation). Here Fr.
