Where Can I Serve Today?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church is our mission to serve. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. St. Dominic’s members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as offering donuts after Mass, to preparing the fundraising and development, and feeding the poor in Benicia.
Lay Mission Project
Have you heard about the Lay Mission Project?
Join other Catholics who seek to deepen their understanding of the faith, and participate in Jesus’ mission to the world in the ordinary circumstances of daily life. https://www.scd.org/family-and-faith-formation/lay-mission-project
The usher team at St. Dominic’s fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, handing out bulletins, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearten group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life. We are currently looking for additional ushers to assist at Mass.

There are always hours available to spend with Jesus in adoration. Adoration is a wonderful way to be in the presence of God and not necessarily in formal prayer, but spending time with our Lord.
Tuesday Adoration in the church open to everyone at 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
The Adoration Chapel is open to the public 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily.  Scheduled hours are available 24 hours a day.
Please email Euly LeGro adoration@stdombenicia.org to help or simply to receive more information about our Adoration Chapel and schedule.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of St. Dominic’s. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for evangelize purposes. All of our Sunday Masses are available on our YouTube Channel. We also maintain an active myParish App, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter feed for additional church communication. If you’d like to help with video development, or graphic design contact
