Jerome delivers a homily that refutes the argument of Sola Scriptura (that the Scripture alone is the source of God's Salvation). Here Fr. Jerome explains why Catholics acknowledge the authority of the Church in regards to our understanding of sacred scripture. Furthermore, as our little ones receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on this Sunday we are reminded of the soul and divinity of Christ present in the Eucharist, the sacred scripture and words of Jesus that is the source of our belief, and the blessings of our christian community when we partake in the celebration of the Mass.
